L.T. Gibson has been president and chief executive officer of US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, since he founded the company in 2009.
With a career spanning more than 35 years, Gibson founded US LBM in 2009 with three divisions operating 16 locations with the belief that a company should care for its employees first and help them realize their full potential so they can better care for the customer.
Fifteen years later, and now with more than 400 operating locations, US LBM remains an employee- and culture-driven company, built on the values of people, partnership, operational excellence, continuous improvement and empowerment to create a business that is hyper-focused, responsive to customer needs and improves faster than its competitors in the rapidly changing building materials industry.
Education
Gibson holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Morehead State University in Kentucky and has attended executive leadership programs at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and IMD, one of the world’s top schools for executive education.
Andrew Campbell

As US LBM's Chief Information Officer, Campbell has oversight of the development and support of US LBM's enterprise-wide technology strategy, platforms and infrastructure, including internal support and external customer-facing technologies.
Professional History
Campbell brings 30 years of experience to US LBM and before joining the company was senior vice president and CIO with Terex Corporation, a global manufacturer of materials processing machinery and aerial work platforms. He has also held executive-level technology roles with General Electric and Xerox.
Education
Campbell is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
Wendy Radtke

As CHRO, Radtke leads the development and implementation of US LBM's overall associate experience and organizational effectiveness strategy, which includes Learning & Development, Recruitment, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits.
Professional History
Over the course of her career, Radtke has held CHRO roles with multiple industrial and consumer facing brands, including TRAC Intermodal, Clarios, Babcock and Wilcox and TruGreen. She has also held HR leadership roles at Goodyear, Honeywell, PepsiCo and 3M.
Education
Radtke holds a master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota and bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology from Indiana University.
Don Riley

As COO, Riley has executive oversight of and leads US LBM's six operating regions, which encompass more than 400 locations nationwide, and the company's Fleet, Manufacturing and Logistics functional areas.
Professional History
Prior to joining US LBM, Riley was most recently an executive with Cornerstone Building Brands, serving as CEO for the company’s Commercial Solutions business. Before holding that role, he had been with NCI Building Systems for four years and was the company’s president and CEO prior to its merger with PlyGem, which led to the creation of Cornerstone. He has also held executive leadership roles with ProBuild and Mohawk Industries.

Riley holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Manish Shanbhag

Shanbhag joined US LBM in Sept. 2021 and serves as the company's top legal advisor, overseeing legal, compliance and corporate governance.
Professional History
Before joining US LBM, Shanbhag was executive vice president, chief legal officer, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary for BrandSafway, a leading global provider of work access and industrial service solutions. Over the course of his career, Shanbhag has held senior legal roles with Edgewell, Energizer Holdings, Honeywell Life Safety and the Gillette Company.

Shanbhag is a graduate of Columbia University Law School and Amherst College.
Russ Tiejema

As US LBM's Chief Financial Officer, Tiejema is responsible for the governance and execution of all financial activities for the company.
Professional History
Prior to joining US LBM in 2024, Tiejema spent nine years as executive vice president and CFO for Masonite, a leading manufacturer of interior and exterior doors. Before his time with Masonite, Tiejema was CFO for Lennox International’s residential business after beginning his career at General Motors, where he held several financial leadership roles.
Education
Tiejema holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Kettering University in Michigan.
Jim Hooper

In his role, Hooper is responsible for leading responsible for leading the research, analysis, due diligence, negotiation and execution of US LBM’s acquisition strategy.
Professional History
Since joining US LBM in 2016, in addition to leading the company's M&A efforts, Hooper has also led US LBM's West Region operations, supporting its divisions based in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Missouri and Nevada. Prior to joining US LBM, Hooper held multiple leadership roles within the Accounting/Finance function of SRS Distribution, Inc. He began his career at Ernst & Young, LLP as an auditor in Indianapolis, Ind.

Hooper holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Valparaiso University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Charlie Bradburn

As vice president of Operations for US LBM's Midwest Region, Bradburn is responsible for the strategic planning and analysis to support the continued market growth of the company’s locations in the Midwestern United States.
Professional History
Bradburn has more than twenty years of industry experience and prior to his current role was president of US LBM's Lyman Companies, which serves professional builders in the Twin Cities and greater Midwest. He began his Lyman career at ABC Millwork & Cabinetry, where he worked his way up from sales manager to branch manager, before becoming president of Lyman Companies in 2019. Bradburn holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. In 2015, he was named to ProSales magazine’s Four Under 40, which recognizes leaders in the building materials industry.

As vice president of Operations in US LBM's Southeast Region, Merritt is responsible for the strategic planning and analysis to support the further growth of the company’s operating divisions headquartered in the southeastern US.
Professional History
Merritt joined US LBM through the company's acquisition of Professional Builders Supply in 2021, where he was president of PBS Commercial, which focused on supplying multifamily builders. Prior to joining PBS, Merritt was the managing director of CBC Capital, where he led Capitol Broadcasting Company’s investment in PBS. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

As vice president of Operations for US LBM's West Region, Richter is responsible for the strategic planning and analysis to support the continued market growth of the company’s locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Washington.
Professional History
Richter brings more than 30 years of experience in homebuilding, distribution, manufacturing and organizational transformation to his role as vice president of Operations for US LBM’s Midwest Region. During his career, Richter has held positions with Touche Ross & Co., a forerunner of Deloitte, and held a number of executive positions with Centex, one of the nation's leading home building companies. He joined US LBM’s Minnesota–based Lyman Companies as vice president in 2016, and was president of Lyman before being named to his current role in 2019.

As vice president of Operations for US LBM's South Central Region, Steve Short is responsible for strategic leadership, planning and analysis to support the continued market growth of the company's divisions based in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
Professional History
Short joined US LBM in 2022 as vice president of Operations and was most recently the company's senior vice president of Supply Chain prior to his current role. He has held numerous executive-level positions in the building materials industry during his career, including leadership roles with Cornerstone Building Alliance and Stock Building Supply. Short is a graduate of Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business.
Gene Tomczak

As vice president of Operations for US LBM's Northeast Region, Gene Tomczak is responsible for the strategic planning analysis and leadership to support the further growth of the company’s divisions based in the northeastern United States.
Professional History
Tomczak joined US LBM through the company's acquisition of Charlotte-based Professional Builders Supply in 2021. Tomczak came to PBS in 2020 as its chief financial officer and was named president in 2023. Prior to joining PBS, he has held leadership roles in a variety of areas, including Human Resources, Finance and Operations with LORD Corporation, a technology and manufacturing company.

Tomczak holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Gannon University in Erie, Pa.
James Martin

As senior vice president of Sales & Commercial Excellence, Martin is responsible for leading US LBM's product line managers initiative and working with the company's regional and local leadership teams to develop customer-focused go-to-market strategies while driving continued commercial excellence.
Professional History
Before his current role, Martin was vice president of Operations for US LBM's Southeast Region, leading the company's network of building materials distributors in the southeastern US. Martin joined US LBM in 2016 through its acquisition of Raymond Building Supply, where he had held numerous leadership roles during his nearly 20 years with the Florida-based company. A graduate of US LBM's PULSE leadership development program, Martin is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Jeff Wood

As senior vice president of Supply Chain, Wood is responsible for leading US LBM’s building materials sourcing and procurement strategy and supply chain operations.
Professional History
Wood joined US LBM in 2024 from Wesco International, a global provider of electrical, communications and utility distribution and supply chain services, where he had served as the company’s senior vice president of Operations since 2021. Prior to his time at Wesco, held multiple leadership roles in operations, supply chain and distribution, including executive-level roles with Allegion and Schneider Electric after beginning his career with General Electric.
Education
Wood is a graduate of the Missouri University of Science & Technology and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
