BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (Oct. 1, 2018) – U.S. LBM Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions Jim Hooper has been recognized by The M&A Advisor as one of its Emerging Leaders for 2018. Hooper was one of several winners honored at a ceremony on Sept. 14 in New York.
The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition of leading M&A, financing and turnaround professionals, created the Emerging Leaders event to promote mentorship and professional development amongst the emerging business leaders. Hooper was chosen for his accomplishments and expertise from a pool of nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders.

Hooper joined U.S. LBM in 2016. Prior to joining the company, he held multiple leadership roles at SRS Distribution, Inc. He began his career at Ernst & Young, LLP. Hooper holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Valparaiso University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
